If you want to let the turtle go for a walk on a clean, dry, not blown warm floor, or you are going to transport the turtle and do not want it to stain something with its secretions along the way, then you should proceed as follows. It is necessary to bathe the turtle for 20 minutes in warm water, wipe it off, put it under the lamp and after 15 minutes the turtle is ready for a walk.

During a walk, the turtle may immediately try to escape into the shade. There is nothing wrong with this. Don’t force a reptile to sit in the sun if it doesn’t want to. The necessary ultraviolet can be obtained in the shade.
